In an effort for better customer experience we have made separate web sites for each product line - http://www.try-tech.com now only displays our Aluminum Awnings and Patio Covers however we do still carry the canopy kits, car canopies, instant garages, costco replacement tarp covers, steel fittings, ball bungees, Sport Motorcycle Covers, Cycle Pockets / Covers, etc..

 

Try-Tech Industries owns each of the sites and product lines just as before however the product lines are split up between separate web addresses. The www.bestbuycanopies.com site will be much more targeted to customers looking for car canopies and canopy kit replacement parts like tarps and fittings with charts and diagrams to assist with getting the correct replacment parts. New car canopy kits will also be available with sizing and design charts are available as well.

We are currently in the process of making a dedicated site for our motorcycle covers and pockets as well as for our Instant Garages.

Do It Yourself Canopy Kits

CANOPY KITS!  We have 381 different canopy kits available online starting at $59.09.  These are Do It Yourself Canopy Kits, everything is included except for the pipe which you can purchase locally at any Home Center.  Our Canopy Kits will reduce the heat by up to 15 Degrees and block harmful UV Rays.  The Tarps are Waterproof giving protection from the Rain,  Hail, Bird Droppings and Tree Sap.

The most flexible canopy on the market, you cut the pipes we offer a huge variety of tarp sizes and roof designs to be able to fit over your your car, truck, boat, patio, porch, hot tub.  Not everyone can use a 10 x 20 or a 10 x 10, we have kits from 6' wide up to 20' wide and up to 40' in length or as short as 8' in length.  Some kits can be modified on site to your desired width by just adjusting your rafter length.

What is the Reason we do not include pipe in these kits you may ask?
Simple, with these kits shipping is cheap.  Most Kits that come with the pipe included cost much more for shipping, the DIY Kits are only usually a 1/4 of the cost for shipping.  The pipe you buy locally is strong & reasonable in price which offsets the cost and you get a canopy sized and designed for your particular needs.

TERMINOLOGY CHART FOR THE DIY CANOPY KITS
DIY	Do It Yourself - Everything is included except for the pipe which you can purchase at any local Home Center (Lowes, Home Depot, etc.).  We even include a Pipe Cut List.
VALANCED	This is a Tarp Style, the tarp drops down over and down the wall aprox. 9 inches. around the perimeter of the Canopy.
NON-VALANCED	This a Tarp Style, the tarp comes up just to the inside of the perimeter of the Canopy Frame.
DEGREES	This is the Peak Angle in Degrees for a Gable Roof, the angle is taken where the legs meet the roof.
PEAK ANGLE (Low, Medium & High Peak)	This is the Peak Angle for a Gable Roof: Low Peak = 102 Degrees Medium Peak = 110 Degrees High Peak = 120 Degrees
FITTING SIZE (1", 1 3/8" & 1 5/8")	This is the size of the fittings and the pipe you will need to purchase: 1" = 1" EMT Electrical Conduit 1 3/8" = 1 3/8" Toprail (Chain Link Pipe) 1 5/8" = 1 5/8" Toprail (Chain Link Pipe)
SIDEWALL	The sidewalls run the length of the Canopy, the height of the sidewalls are 6' 8".
ENDWALL	The endwalls run the width of the Canopy, they follow the Gable in the roof.  There side height is 6' 8" and the center height varies on different sizes.
FOOT PADS	The Foot Pads attach to the bottom of the legs with a thumb screw and have pre-drilled holes in the base so they can be bolted down to wood or cement.
CUT CHART	The Cut Chart is a list of pipes needed by length and quantity.
